Thomas (Tom) Farr is the graduate of Albright College in Reading, PA, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. He was a licensed Certified Public Accountant for half of his career, and is now an inactive member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has over 17 years of Audit and Accounting experience with regional CPA firms (Beard & Company, Reinsel & Company, and Herbein & Company), and as a sole practitioner, specializing in medium to large commercial entities in the construction, manufacturing, retail, and professional and trade services industries. Tom left public accounting to become the Chief Financial Officer or Controller of several large commercial entities with revenues ranging from $25 million to over $100 million, in the wholesale / distribution, manufacturing, retail, and real estate industries. He enjoys building relationships with our clients to assess and solve their accounting needs and help them be more successful in their businesses. Tom is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. He is also the loving husband to the founder of the Company, Lee, and they have two teenage sons. When he is not working, you can find him running, weightlifting, reading, training his sons in their athletic ventures, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
Lee Bonnie Farr, founder and owner of Farr & Associates Bookkeeping & Consulting, graduated from Shippensburg University in PA, where she earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting. She was a licensed Certified Public Accountant and has over 25 years of diverse accounting experience. Her career has provided a well-rounded experience from public accounting, owner of her own restaurant business, and holding the following positions for other private entities: Controller,
Business Office Manager of a sizable retirement community, Finance Administrator, and Treasury Manager. Her accounting expertise has been developed in these positions with small to medium-sized companies with revenues up to $50 million. In addition to her vast accounting knowledge, her people skills are "off-the-charts". She loves to build personal relationships with her clients and serve their professional bookkeeping and accounting needs. Lee lives in Shillington, PA with her husband and partner, her two energetic sons, and her devoted English Mastiff, "Woody". In her spare time, Lee is actively involved in activities with her family, Christian counseling, volunteer organizations and activities, making crafts, and exercising.
